Carl Thomas makes a return to the R&B scene after a four-year hiatus with “Don’t Kiss Me,” a track which features rap veteran Snoop Dogg. The track features on his latest LP Conquer and its visuals are offered up today. The sound harks back to the days of “I Wish” and “Summer Rain” with Thomas’ signature vocals. Snoop and Wiz are readying up the release of their soundtrack for Mac & Devin Go To High School. As the release is upon us, leaks continue to hit the web, and for their latest entitled "OG," they call upon Jet Life emcee Curren$y to lend a verse over the smooth instrumental. Mac & Devin Go To High School is out on Tuesday, December 13.

Back in the studio working on their upcoming 2012 release Alumni, Dogg Pound announce that the project will be overseen by longtime collaborators Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. In an interview with AllHipHop.com, the Long Beach duo of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger stated:

“It’s Daz and Kurupt getting that DPGC together. Big Snoop is overseeing it, Dre’s overseeing... We just got off a road trip for beats with Dr. Dre, who is still working on Detox.”

The tune is taken from the soundtrack to their stoner comedy Mac and Devin Go to High School, which hits stores December 13. The Dylan Brown-directed clip features footage from the film that finds Wiz playing valedictorian hopeful Devin Overstreet who finds inspiration in Mac Johnson (Snoop). Mac and Devin Go to High School opens in theaters in early 2012.

Los Angeles rapper/actor Snoop Dogg and Pittsburgh emcee Wiz Khalifa are set to release an upcoming feature film entitled Mac and Devin Go To High School.

The film, set in a Los Angeles high school, sees Valedictorian hopeful Devin Overstreet (Wiz Khalifa) struggling to pen his graduation speech when it becomes clear that all his academic overachievements have left him with little to no real-life experiences. He finds an unlikely inspiration in the least-achieving student on campus, Mac Johnson (Snoop Dogg). Mac, a 15-year senior and consummate ladies man, is smitten by the school’s new substitute chemistry teacher. He soon realizes that the only way he’ll truly have a chance with her is if he finally graduates high school. In three weeks time, Mac must cram four years of high school academics, while Devin must cram four years of teenage experience.

In addition to the film, which is set to release early next year, a collaborative album is geared up to arrive on December 13, along with a small six-stop tour. The tour is set to kickoff December 5 at New York’s Terminal 5 and wraps a week later in Los Angeles at The Wiltern.
