A couple of weeks ago, KiD CuDi fans received the disappointing news that WZRD, his collaborative project with longtime producer and friend Dot Da Genius, would no longer be releasing on January 31 as planned. Instead, they're aiming for February 28. To make up for it, CuDi announced on Twitter the other day that two tracks from the album would go on sale on the original release date. It's now officially the last day of the month, and fans who have been camped out on iTunes know that their favorite former lonely stoner has owned up to his word. One of the songs that can be purchased now is "Brake," which Cudi and Genius gave out back in November. The other, however, has only previously been heard in snippet form. The single, titled "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie" in honor of the mother of CuDi's daughter, may sound slightly familiar if you've heard the soundtrack to this past fall's box office hit movie, Drive. Since the Desire-sampling song is now floating about the 'net, we've provided a stream for you all to listen to. If you want to download it, head over to iTunes or Amazon.

Although KiD CuDi and Dot Da Genius have pushed back the release of their joint project WZRD until February 28, the duo has now unveiled the official tracklist of the piece. So far, we heard "Brake" and "Teleport 2 Me" but expect eight more rock infused tunes to bless your headphones real soon.

Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius' collaborative WZRD album was slated to release at the end of this month, but it appears that the all-too-common has happened, as Dot Da Genius recently took to Twitter in saying that the project has been postponed and will now become available on February 28.

Hey Guys, WZRD Update. Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it’s almost near completion. We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us. With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th. Y’all know how Cudi is’ and I’m the same way. Everything has to be in place and now it is. I know it’s late notice, we were trying to keep the date but got wrapped up making this album perfect for y’all. However for making you guys wait a little longer we will release ‘Brake‘ & ‘Teleport 2 Me‘ on iTunes on the previously said date. AS WELL AS ‘DOSE OF DOPENESS’. Hopefully that will hold you guys over until the album drops!

It appears that DJ Yeezy World Peace has not spent the entire New Year's Eve in the DJ booth. Footage that shows Yeezy performing live on stage with his G.O.O.D. In switching things up a bit, electro quartet Far East Movement links with Kid Cudi and his fellow Ohio native Chip Tha Ripper for a collaborative track titled "Ride 4 U." The lyric video to The Voice runner-up Dia Frampton and Kid Cudi's collaborative single "Don't Kick the Chair" was let loose less than a week ago. Luckily, Dat New 'Cudi' recently came through with news of the audio availability of the intriguing track. The song is featured on Frampton's debut solo album RED, which made its way to stores today.

WZRD (KiD CuDi & Dot Da Genius) make sure that they keep their promise and liberate a two-minute teaser of their upcoming single "Teleport 2 Me." Dot Da Genius is outdoing himself on this instrumental due to a clever sample usage of Desire's "Under Your Spell" which has gotten revitalized through the Drive soundtrack. WZRD arrives January 30.
