Carlos Serrano returns with another mashup in the form of Phoenix going up against Kavinsky for "Night Mania." Following the highly popular Adele vs. Daft Punk "Something About The Fire" track Serrano conjured up to mass fanfare online, he's taken the production of Kavinsky's "Night Call" and infused it with the vocals of Phoenix's "Listomania." The chilled out electro beats made famous on the movie Drive marry up with the wavy lyrics of Phoenix, and Lovefoxxx remains on deck for the chorus. Seemingly out of nowhere appears a new tune by French electronica giant Kavinsky. Titled "Roadgame," the dark, orchestrated tune boasts heavy violin influences. This also marks as the first teaser of his new album to be released soon in the new year.

The Hood Internet just released yet another interesting mash-up, this time featuring Maybach Music's Wale and electro musican Kavinsky. Combining Wale's "Chain Music" and Kavinsky's "Nightcall," the ending result gives of "Nightchain." Stream the track down below and click here for the download.

Lupe Fiasco continues to explore his appreciation for different music genres as he unleashes the latest installment of his "American Terrorist" series. The Chi-Town native drops some thought-provoking lyrics over the intriguing instrumental of Kavinsky’s "Nightcall." A combination that works.

Being offered today is a soundtrack YouTube preview for DRIVE which you can check out above. The album contains an original score by Cliff Martinez, one-time drummer for Lydia Lunch, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Captain Beefheart as well as the composer behind scores for Wicker Park, Wonderland and Pump Up The Volume, amongst many other projects. The album will further feature pieces by the likes of Kavinsky & Lovefoxxx, The Chromatics, Desire, College featuring Electric Youth and Riziero Ortolani featuring Katyna Ranieri. The DRIVE original motion picture soundtrack will be in stores on September 13, through Lakeshore Records in conjunction with the release of the film by FilmDistrict on September 16. Parisian Electro aficionado Kavinksy recently launched a remix contest of his intriguing "Nightcall"-single. According to his label Record Makers, over 500 submissions were turned in. The big winner is the 80s Metal -Just For Fun- SAWAGii rework and was chosen by Kavinsky himself. The edit is Home Made with some love and Hair Metal attitude. The funky rendition by Robotaki reached the second spot and was chosen by the label staff and the artist himself. His biography reads: Kavinsky died in a car crash in 1986, whilst driving his beloved Testarossa. He re-appeared as a zombie in 2005, with his 12-inch, ‘Teddy Boy’. The Zombie has now come back with a new EP and is giving us two examples of what his upcoming offering will sound like. Yesterday we presented you the title track plus a remix graced by Breakbot, and now it's up to you to follow a ghostcar on the highway via the second track "Pacific Coast Highway". Kavinsky's "Nightcall" EP is set to be released March 15 of Record Makers.
