While the G.O.O.D. Music camp is over in London recording arguably the most anticipated album of 2012, it appears Jay Electronica and Frank Ocean have joined in with the festivities. This uncovered through Marsha Ambrosius's Twitter in which she stated:

"In the studio with Frank Ocean, Big Sean, Pusha T, Manny Fresh :) Kanye West is on the way!!! I'm having fun today :)" She then followed up with, "And @JayElectronica just arrived :) fun times in the studio - Kanye sessions Day 2 :)"

It appears hip-hop heads have new signs of hope as a "rough demo" of Act II emerges courtesy of Jay Electronica's Tumblr page. This following what many would call a hiatus from Jay Electronica after releasing a stem of instant classics. But in his defense, you can never rush greatness. Stay tuned!

Mister Jay Electronica drops off a visual today on the random tip courtesy of his Vimeo page. Not exactly a music video, but it appears to be a montage of the gifted wordsmith's travels around the world. Not sure which countries they may be, but feel free to chime in below if you know any of these spots. Until then, we await for Act II: Patents of Nobility.

Following up to the recently released short film Run & Hide, Jay Electronica re-teamed up with UK band The Bullitts to turn in a great live rendition of “Close Your Eyes” on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show. With a convincing narration by Lucy Liu, the version further offers a new verse by Jay Elec. The track is taken from The Bullitts' 2010 debut LP, They Die By Dawn and Other Short Stories.

The Based God, Lil B recently made music headlines after he formally announced details on his album being titled I'm Gay. If that didn't catch your attention, maybe this will, as the Based God drops another bombshell revealing news on an upcoming collabo project involving Jay Electronica. According to a recent interview with MTV, Lil B stated the following:

"If you listen to Jay Electronica's first mixtape that he had 'Exhibit C' on, and if you really listen to him, there's a lot of stuff that I feel in my heart are similarities," B said. "You know, like, subject matter. It's another level that we're in tune on, because we're here for the positivity and to make a change."

"This project with Jay is gonna be very spiritual, very uplifting, very deep," he said. "It will be historical."

Okayplayer receives the premiering honors for Jay Electronica's almost forgotten visual for "Dimethyltryptamine." Directed by Jason Goldwatch, the video was shot during a trip to Kathmandu Nepal in the fall of 2009 whereas the song was based on a dream the rapper had. The eventual release of the clip honors tomorrow's May Day for all the people who worked hard to create these videos, part of larger project that spans the continents. Word up.
