Mr. Carter himself confirms with us that he has in fact listened to the long-awaited Jay Electronica album to confirm it's more than just an urban legend. Jay Electronica, arguably the most wanted man in hip-hop has stated numerous times that the album was a go but has gone through several setbacks time and time again. MTV recently caught up with Jay-Z and he tells fans the album in regards to Jay Electronica's lyricism is "Scary Good." Says a lot coming from arguably one of the "scariest" emcees ever to grace the mic. Guess we'll just continue waiting now.

In an interview with Hard Knock TV, legendary producer Just Blaze spoke about relevant sounds being used in music today, as well as his relationship with Jay Electronica. He began by discussing how he was ahead of the game by incorporating electronic dance music sounds into his beats way back in 2004. A fact unknown to most, growing up in Jersey, he revealed that he was influenced not only by hip-hop but by the big dance music scene in his neighborhood. The producer went on to explain that him and Jay Electronica still communicate, but not as frequently due to Jay's new home in London, England. He stated that he has heard Jay's new album and eagerly awaits making a contribution to it.

To say the internet went into a frenzy when the full version of Jay Electronica's "Dear Moleskine" released would definitely be an understatement. With rumors floating around in regards to the release of his highly anticipated album, whenever we can get any information about it we'll take it so that the thought of it finally surfacing can remain alive in our minds. Young Guru shares that album will be out when it's out, and also goes on to say "everything that you want… it will be that, and more." While many will continue to wonder if Jay Electronica will ever release his highly-anticipated debut album, The Roots drummer ?uestlove takes some time out to give a somewhat update on the long-awaited LP. While ?uest sat down for an interview with The Champs (Neal Brennan, Moshe Kasher and DJ Douggpound), he spoke about how the album is completed and Jay-Z said it's his favorite record of 2012 and has it in constant rotation. The main problem with the record is that it still has no singles, so fans will have to continue to wait for the release. Where in the world is Jay Electronica, and where has he been for the past two years? Despite some random releases here and there, the 34-year-old MC hasn't had a very strong presence since 2010. But perhaps this brand new clip for New Balance will be the start of a resurgence in visibility for the Roc Nation signee? For their Excellent Makers series, Electronica linked up with the shoe company to speak on the idea of creation, his musical beginnings, and what it means to be authentic. Hopefully the next time he gets on camera, it'll be to give fans an update on his debut album, Act II: Patents of Nobility, which has supposedly been complete since July 2011.

While the G.O.O.D. Music camp is over in London recording arguably the most anticipated album of 2012, it appears Jay Electronica and Frank Ocean have joined in with the festivities. This uncovered through Marsha Ambrosius's Twitter in which she stated:

"In the studio with Frank Ocean, Big Sean, Pusha T, Manny Fresh :) Kanye West is on the way!!! I'm having fun today :)" She then followed up with, "And @JayElectronica just arrived :) fun times in the studio - Kanye sessions Day 2 :)"
