While Andre 3000 is or is not filming the highly anticipated Jimi Hendrix biopic, his partner in rhyme took to Twitter to open up on upcoming projects from the OutKast camp. Accordingly, the ATLien hinted at solo albums from him and 3 Stacks to be on the way. His solo LP is about "80% done" and promises "lotta surprises." In addition, KiD CuDi is one of the featured guest rappers on Sir Lucious Leftfoot's solo opus. Speculation on a new group album and solo releases have been ongoing, but lets hope that this time we will see the final product emerging soon.

It is known that Big Boi does not shy away from collaborations outside the hip-hop genre. The OutKast rapper revealed through Twitter last night that he is currently working Swedish indie-pop quartet Little Dragon on the followup of his 2010 LP Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty

"just cut 2 MONSTER Jams with @LittleDragon for the New Daddy Fat Saxxx LP #weoutchea. We are live in Stankonia studios... I wish I could let this bitch out tonight, but y'all have to wait. Daddy Fat Saxxx: Soul Funk Crusader, coming soon! We just made history." Here's hoping for minimal delays on this release."

According to TMZ, Big Boi was arrested yesterday in Miami for three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. The controlled substances were identified as ecstasy pills, MDMA powder and Viagra.

Law enforcement sources state that the rapper was busted by customs and border patrol dogs as he was exiting a cruise ship. The ATLien did not have a prescription for the Viagra.

Big Boi's attorney Daniel Kane has addressed the situation via CNN stating that the rapper was traveling with friends when he got busted.

"A small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage. I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated."

Big Boi was held on $16,000 bond, but later released. He tweeted, "Fresh Out Baby!"

Great news from Big Boi today. In an interview with Junior, the ATLien revealed that he is busy working on the follow-up to his Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty opus. According to the man himself, 17 tracks have already been finished. Tentatively titled Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader, the album is set to contain some trademark Big Boi funk.

"It's going to be S-A-X-X-X triple unadulterated funk to the extremest level. Straight lyrical assassin, and the beats are going to be as hard hitting as always. I'mma let everything else be a surprise, and just let it speak for itself."

This coincides with the recent news that a new album by OutKast and solo LPs by both members are on their way. Stay tuned!
