Famed director Spike Jonze has enlisted the talents of Animal Collective, Sleigh Bells, Girls among others for the soundtrack of his short film I’m Here. However, the project will contain previously-released records from the participating artists. You can watch the robotic love story here while anticipating the official release of the soundtrack which will happen October 5th via Chocolate Industries. In anticipation of tomorrow’s DVD-release of ODDSAC, the cinematic collaboration between Animal Collective and director Danny Perez, comes an audible taste from the group. The visual album is an experimental film featuring psychedelic visual and took two years in the making. This project will be released on iTunes and DVD via Plexifilm.

Animal Collective unveils a new visual translation for one of their recent highlighted singles, Guys Eyes. The footage takes place with a summer plot, as it features mainly skating, surfing, and beach-related shots. You’ll find this on their current successful project, Merriweather Post Pavilion.
In anticipation of his upcoming US tour, German producer Hendrick Weber, better known under his moniker Pantha Du Prince, has received a royal remix treatment by friends Animal Collective. After the German minimal techno aficionado remixed AC’s “Peacebone” and Panda Bear lent his vocals for the Black Noise-track “Stick To My Side”, the duo now returns the favor and reworked his powerful song “Welt Am Draht” (World On Wire).
