Most notably known for the sound behind Little Brother, North Carolina producer 9th Wonder takes on another role as not only a producer, but a professor  of historical African-American music. His Duke University class titled "Sampling Soul" explores the most sampled songs from the Civil Rights era and Black Power movement. This is 9th's second gig teaching music, his first being at North Carolina University, the place where he met Phonte and Big Pooh as a student.
