Noah Baumbach’s motion picture “Greenberg” starring Ben Stiller will be blessed by an indie-rock centric soundtrack featuring new music from LCD Soundsystem. The first musical taste of James Murphy, is “Oh You (Christmas Blues)”. As the title suggests this is a pure Blue-song finding Murphy disturbed and frustrated along the Pink Floyd-style guitar riffs. It is apparent that the lamenting draws parallels to the persona of Greenberg fictional persona.

13thWitness and the Grammy-winning band, the Deftones , have collaborated on the video for the Deftones’ new single “Rocket Skates” from the Deftones highly-anticipated new album Diamond Eyes. Filled with rich coloration, sharp edits, and visceral features by the Deftones, “Rocket Skates” is a balanced collaboration between the visual genius of 13thWitness and the sonic amazement of the Deftones. For his leading cut “Fo Yo Sorrows” the ATLien invites illustrious guests such as the Godfather of Funk, George Clinton, and the original Pimp on Wax, Too $hort. Parisian beatmaker Kavinsky has been a fixture on international dance floors for a while now. His latest effort entitled “Nightcall” should easily solidify his reputation among lovers of radly-electro house music. Produced by Guy Manuel de Homem Christo of Daft Punk, this track serves as a homage to all that 80s sci-tech movie outro music. With vocals from CSS’ Lovefoxx, Kavinsky offers a downtempo slice of bumpy synths and whispery singing. “Night Call” drops via Record Makers on March 22.

The electro masterpiece “Stick To My Side” by German producer Hendrik Weber, better known through his moniker Pantha Du Prince, can be detected on numerous playlists around the globe these days. Kieran Hebden of Four Tet fame now offers his rendition of the enigmatic single “Stick to My Side”, off Pantha’s new album “Black Noise”. The result of this musical threesome is a vibrant and uplifting techno jam. The remix is part of the “Stick to My Side” single, which drops via Rough Trade digitally today in the UK and tomorrow in the U.S., and on vinyl 12″ March 23.
