It appears like Lil Wayne's much-debated memoir, Gone 'Til November, will be released in October. Stores like Barnes & Noble, Penguin and Apple have announced pre-orders for the book, which is inspired by Tunechi's incarceration in Rikers Island. The book's description on the Penguin website reads:
"From rap superstar Lil Wayne comes the long-awaited GONE ‘TIL NOVEMBER, a deeply personal and revealing account of his time spent incarcerated on Rikers Island for eight months in 2010."
The New Orleans native served eight months of the one-year sentence he received in March 2010, after pleading guilty to attempted possession of a criminal weapon.
