Radiohead Release New Album, ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’

The band's ninth full-length effort spans 11 tracks.

After a series of unconventional promotion campaigns, such as mysterious leaflets, a complete disappearance from the internet, stop-motion video, and more, Radiohead have finally unleashed their new album, A Moon Shaped Pool. As expected, the follow-up to their The King of Limbs LP features their new singles “Burn the Witch” and “Daydreaming.” Rumours around the album first started to spread when Jonny Greenwood discussed the band's in-studio progress last year and photos of the band working the studio surfaced online. In addition, the band registered a new company, Dawn Chorus LLP. The group employing a similar routine when they previously established companies before surprise releasing In Rainbows and The King of Limbs. The new album was briefly available as a stream via Google Play Music but was taken down shortly after. A Moon Shaped Pool arrives digitally today at 2 p.m. EST via the band's website and will be available physically on June 17 via XL Recordings.
