John Berry, the guitarist and founding member of legendary rap group Beastie Boys, has died at the age of 52. From 1981 to 1982, Berry was an active member of the group and contributed to their debut EP, Polly Wog Stew. He is responsible for giving the group its name, and he left the crew in 1982. He passed away this morning in a hospice facility in Danvers, Massachusetts. In 2012, founding member MCA (Adam Yauch) passed away due to cancer. Rest in peace and we send our condolences to Berry's loved ones during this time of loss.
