D'Angelo joins the growing number of high-profile, highly-respected musicians/artists cooking up their own tributes to Prince. Pulling inspiration from Prince's expansive, eclectic body of work for his own life's work, D'Angelo salutes The Purple One with a new cover of one of Prince's many classics. Looking to the 1986 album Under The Cherry Moon, D'Angelo serves up a a very personal, striking spin on Prince's LP cut "Venus Di Milo." The end result of an "impromptu" studio session, D'Angelo's rendition of "Venus Di Milo" is available for listening above.
