Talib Kweli Responds to Gene Simmons About Hip-Hop’s “Life Expectancy”

"Would it be unfair of me to say I'm looking forward to the death [of] Gene Simmons or nah? Chuck Berry sh*ts on Kiss."

As we pointed out earlier this week, KISS frontman Gene Simmons predicts that "rap will die." His argumentation implies that hip-hop would end "next year, 10 years from now, at some point, and then something else will come along. And all that is good and healthy." Esteemed lyricist Talib Kweli responded to Simmons in defense, replying "would it be unfair of me to say I'm looking forward to the death [of] @genesimmons or nah? Chuck Berry shits on Kiss."
