A couple months ago, news emerged that M83's "eclectic," and "epic" next album was almost finished. Directly following those headlines, M83 announced an expansive new world tour, further stirring up speculation regarding their forthcoming LP. Now, the acclaimed act's next record has been officially announced. Entitled Junk, the album will see release on April 8 via Mute Records. The album will serve as the seventh album from Anthony Gonzalez's longtime project, as well as the follow-up to 2011's Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. It's been five years since the last M83 full-length, and considering the impact past records have had, you can definitely consider this one an "event" album.
