Kanye West Claps Back at Bob Ezrin

Taylor Swift gets a subtweet too.

Recently, Canadian producer and keyboardist Bob Ezrin, best known for his work with classic rock acts like Kiss, Alice Cooper and Phish, wrote a scathing criticism of Kanye West's artistry. Ezrin said that 'Ye's production was "sophomoric at best" and that he had not contributed anything important to hip-hop music, sharing:

"Kanye’s greatest achievements have been in the form of excessive behavior, egomaniacal tantrums and tasteless grandstanding. What he is a true artist at is living his life out loud – and shoving it down the throats of the rest of us whether we give a shit or not. He’s like that flasher who interrupts a critical game by running naked across the field. Is that art? [...] [Kanye] didn’t open up new avenues of public discourse like NWA, or introduce the world to a new art form like Grandmaster Flash, or even meaningfully and memorably address social issues through his music like Marshall, Macklemore and Kendrick.”

West was very unhappy about the critique and clapped back with a Twitter tirade. In his tweets, he mentions that nobody knows Ezrin, that he is irrelevant and therefore should not comment on Kanye, or music in general. 'Ye said he would even send free Yeezys to Ezra's kids for the embarrassment their father caused. Check them out below.
