Kendrick Lamar Rallies Compton Students to Perform “Alright”

Who better to promote the 58th Grammy Awards than the artist with the most nominations, Kendrick Lamar? To begin the week, the people behnd the GRAMMYs have unveiled a new promo-piece centered on the To Pimp a Butterfly rapper and his hometown of Compton. The vignette takes its viewers to Kendrick's city, where the TDE emcee and various Compton students put on a special performance of the TPAB hit-single "Alright." Considering Kendrick will also be performing live for this year's Grammy ceremony, this video should also serve as a preview of what's to come when he hits the stage on February 15.
