Chance The Rapper Just Raised Over $100k for Chicago’s Homeless

Doing the right thing.

Chance The Rapper hasn't forgotten about where he came from. Last night, in his new philanthropic initiative for his hometown of Chicago 'Warmest Winter,' reached and surpassed its goal of $100K. The initiative will create not only 1,000 self-heating winter coats that transform into sleeping bags, but will also create jobs as the jackets will be made by the homeless citizens of Chicago. It's fair to say, he's more than worthy of this recent Chicagoan of The Year Award.
The 'Warmest Winter' initiative has been extended until January 13; more information on how to donate can be found here.
