While most in A-Trak's position don't exactly keep their ears to the streets of everywhere, the Fool's Gold boundary-breaker can always be counted on to whip up a diverse, inclusive mix of almost any genre, sub-genre or musical movement. This time around, he's flexing his knowledge of French hip-hop for a new, brief mix. Originally cooked up for Pharrell's Beats 1 program, the piece and its meaning took a different turn following last week's tragedy in France. "After last Friday's events, I look at this mix in a whole different light, because it brings back memories of moments shared with my Parisian friends over the years," says A-Trak.
