As the streaming service battle continues into an all out war for supremacy, music-streaming giant Spotify has decided to offer up further incentives to their current paying customers. According to Digital Music News, Spotify plans to implement premium-only content, meaning certain material will only be available for paying users. While the details are still hazy, the rumored change would mean that free users may be able to listen to one or two songs off an album, while premium users would have access to the entire record. The proposed change wouldn’t come into effect until 2016, however, Spotify also needs to renew their licensing deals with major labels by October 1. Have a look at the full breakdown here.
