Recently, Complex invited Las Vegas singer-songwriter Shamir and Canadian artist Mac DeMarco to interview each other while they (incorrectly) played the classic wood block game, Jenga. Their conversation covered a wide variety of topics, such as when they developed their smoking habits, their respective pet peeves, and their thoughts on Las Vegas and Montreal. They also reminisced on the first time meeting each other at Pitchfork Music Festival, an event which led Shamir to eventually cry tears of joy. Watch part one of the interview above, and stay tuned for the second half.
