50 Cent was ordered into a Manhattan Supreme court today to address his recent chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, having to testify about his current financial standings. Addressed as his real name Curtis Jackson, 50 professed to jurors that much of his ostentatious spending is fabricated for the public, and that his sports cars and jewels are all borrowed. "It’s like music videos, they say action and you see all these fancy cars but everything goes back to the dealership," claims Jackson. As for the jewels? "I borrowed from the jeweler." The ostensible motive for 50's recent filing are said to be an attempt to avoid paying $5 million USD to Lastonia Leviston, who shares a son with his rap rival Rick Ross. Earlier this month, 50 had been ordered to pay the amount by a civil court for circulating and adding his own commentary to a private sex tape of Leviston's. Forbes magazine currently lists 50 Cent's net worth to be around $155 million. For more on the story, visit the New York Post.
