After hinting at the track yesterday, Disclosure have unveiled their first new piece of solo production in two years, "Bang That." Though they've worked and collaborated with many over these past couple of years -- most famously Mary J. Blige -- the duo that makes up Disclosure have been absolutely silent when it comes to their own music as Disclosure. Today's release is also said to have been an integral part of their recent sets for a while now, so Disclosure diehards might recognize this one. You can listen to "Bang That" above, and check out a statement Disclosure released to coincide with today's drop below.
As work speedily progresses on our next record, we wanted to give you guys something for the summer. Been playing this one in our DJ sets for a while now and couldn't resist putting it up! Hope you enjoy... So much more on the way!
Also, as Consequence of Sound notes, Disclosure "have confirmed that a new album will be out before the year’s end," and that project is said to be co-written with Jimmy Napes, who co-authored Disclosure numbers such as "Latch" and "White Noise."
