Rather unexpectedly, Tyler, the Creator dropped his new album Cherry Bomb on iTunes this week where it had a very strong opening week, immediately making its way to this week’s top five -- without any sales from Target. Apparently, as he tweets, because he released the album digitally first, they will not be carrying it. In 2013, when Beyoncè dropped her self-titled surprise album, Target also refused to sell it. Regardless, Bey and Tyler’s album saw and are seeing healthy numbers. Cherry Bomb is available on both iTunes and Amazon as well as in stores.
TARGET WONT CARRY THE PHYSICAL BECAUSE I WENT DIGITAL FIRST. THATS FUCKING STUPID, ITS 2015. WHATEVER THO.
