For decades, Sweden has been one of the world's most consistent exporters of popular music. From Abba to Icona Pop, from jj to Robyn, the country’s reputation for delivering catchy, yet sophisticated sounds has spanned decades and it continues today. Snoh Aalegra could become the next chapter in this ongoing success story. Signed to ARTIUM QOQ/Sony Music, the rising singer-songwriter has been working closely with none other than No I.D., forging a soul-driven, yet genre-bending sound that complements her powerful voice. The world could already witness her artistic potential through her powerful debut track "The Fall" as well as her equally impressive second single "Burning Bridges," which has been graced with a dramatic visualization. We caught up with her at No I.D.'s recording studio and found out about the differences of her native Sweden and hew new home, Los Angeles, the work process with No I.D., her musical inspiration, and much more. Get to know Snoh in her first-ever interview above and stay tuned for more material from her in 2014.
