By Davis Huynh / Interviews, Video / February 27, 2013 / 2764 Views

J. Cole the Harvard lecturer? Well, we all know his brilliance behind the mic when he's articulating rhymes, but who knew he'd be dropping some knowledge to one of the most prestigious universities in the world? Just yesterday, the talented rhyme spitter took the opportunity to speak with students for an event they put together titled "The Next Move: A Conversation with J. Cole." As you'll see in the two-part video, Cole touches on some of his fondest hip-hop recollections, from his early beginnings in listening to Kool Moe Dee, onto his his first time listening to 2Pac's 2Pacalypse Now album given to him from his stepfather, and dreams of becoming an NBA player. As for his upcoming Born Sinner album, a tentative June 2013 release is rumored although not confirmed, but we'll keep you updated.

Kanye? Really? I smell Ye dick rider.

  • badpopcodotuk

Especially on the mixtapes, he recycled lots of samples that Kanye used. He even used the vocoder sample on Work Out. MPC you must have that smell confused with real shit, get your nostrils checked.
