Drake Swears Loyalty to Young Money

To all of you who thought that Drake is about to leave his beloved YMCMB family, check again. The Toronto native has confirmed that he’s still signed to Young Money and doesn’t have any intentions to jump ship - at all. During an after-party for NBA All-Star Weekend, Drizzy sent out birthday wishes to YMCMB general Birdman and simultaneously shut down hints that he might move with Roc Nation.

“I just want to say as I’m standing in front of you tonight, proud as a man that’s about to be with Young Money-Cash Money for another I don’t know how many albums. YMCMB for life.”

    You know, this might not be ALL that bad of an idea. Everyone keeps talking about how Drake is way too talented to be in Young Money and whatnot, but if he went to G.O.O.D. or Roc Nation or something, we'd always be forced to compare him to Kanye, Jay-Z, etc. I think it's smart on Drake's part.

    i agree with this logic. also, i think it's a matter of Drake being a priority. Drake IS YMCMB. Lil' Wayne is past his prime, Nicki Minaj is irrelevant and everybody else is just a side act. Moving to GOOD or Roc Nation or whatever, he may not be guaranteed the backing and exaltation that YMCMB has to offer.
