Wolf Alice is a four piece indie outfit from North London who delivers a distinctive rock-meets-grunge sound that sits somewhere between Florence and the Machines and Primal Scream. With the "Fluffy" single is due to drop next month, the fledgling new band is catching on quite a buzz with current audio leaks. While "Fluffy" may at first display qualities from any run-of-the-mill indie band, there's something distinctively timeless about the deliverance, as Alice's ethereal vocals flutter throughout drone-like post-rock riffs and confident drum patterns. The B-Side "White Leather" comes as a contrary to the bold rock stance, as we get treated with a stripped-back dream pop narrative, strung together by emotive guitar chords and an amiable soft clap. "Fluffy" is due to drop February 11 via Chess Club Records, enjoy the tracks below and let us know your thoughts.
