Scottish rock group Mogwai have holed up in the studio lately, penning the score for Les Revenants, a new zombie show on French television. Though up until now, only samples of the work have been released, today the group releases a full track. Entitled “Wizard Motor,” the song makes use of grinding, growling synth work and slow, beating drums, capturing an ominous, post-apocalyptic feel that is almost necessary when dealing with hordes of the undead. The song, along with the rest of the official soundtrack, will be released on Mogwai’s own Rock Action Records and is due to be released February 25th in CD, vinyl and digital formats.
