"In most cases, a band starts off appealing to the indie crowd, gets big, signs to a major, and starts making more polished, instantly accessible, less experimental, and more obvious music. That's the stuff that sells. Look at the charts. So is it good to see our favorite bands start to get appreciated as much as we think they deserve to be appreciated? Yes, it is, but there's also an anxiety that comes with seeing this success on a large scale and knowing that it's probably going to change some of the things that we liked in the first place."
