What Is Your Album of the Year 2012?

Yes, folks. It's that time of the year again. 2012 is approaching its end, and it is safe to say the past 12 months have seen some exciting music releases. Before we unveil our list of favorite 2012 long-players, we would like to ask you to reveal your favorite LP that has hit digital and non-digital shelves this year. In order to do so, please go to our Twitter or Facebook pages or just leave a comment below and share your favorite album in 2012 with us. If you decide the former channel, make sure to name the album title, artist, and hashtags #albumoftheyear and #hypetrak. The process is simple, every mention in the mentioned channels equals one vote. Obviously, the album of the year will be determined by the highest number of votes. If several albums receive the same amount of votes, then the accumulate amount of "comment"-likes will be added to the vote. You can submit your choice until Sunday, December 23, 12 p.m. EST. Your top 10 choices will be posted on Monday, December 24 on this website. See your last year picks here.

i felt like it was a reach. idk what he was trying to achieve, but i wrote that song off pretty early into it.

you're definitely right about the production playing a part in the overall cohesion. whereas, GKMC relied on "skits" to do that. Section.80 had several themes interwoven throughout the album, that were actually intriguing, given the way he chose to verbally express them.

anyway, i feel like GKMC had some skippable tracks (debatable, of course), and Section.80 was completely and undeniably solid from front to back.
