because how wale has changed over the years, he was great back in the day, not saying ambition wasn't a good album, hes just changed, every one of his mixtapes before that whole 4 11 one was great, he was a smart underground lyricist, i saw an interview about the whole sopa thing taking over the internet weeks after it had been in the news and wale had no idea what it was.. hes just some generic commercial rapper now, to me he lost all the appeal he had in the first place now that hes on mmg. il get his next album, but this mixtape seems like a waste of time.

this is quality as per usual, maybe not his best but worth the download!!

Commercial artists tend to dumb down their product; compromises artistic integrity and subsequently an inferior product to make it more accessible to the masses. Few artists, though, come out unscathed by it.
