More J Dilla Material is Imminent

On the heels of the previously unreleased projects DILLATROIT and Rebirth of Detroit, more material from the late and great producer is apparently on the way via Yancey Media Group and Delicious Vinyl. According to the official Dilla blog, the first release will be the digital-only single “The Throwaway” and is due out in December. The track features the Yancey Boys featuring Frank Nitt with Dilla's brother Illa J rapping over a vintage Dilla beat.

In addition, you can look forward to more goodies in 2013. A 10" vinyl release featuring Dilla as both the producer and the emcee as well as the first official release of the bootleg classic 'Frank N Dank' album, 48 Hours, are planned to be unleashed to the masses. Plus, a second annual Dilla Day in Detroit for February 9 is in the works too. Plenty of reasons to rejoice if you ask us.

The first sentence is a run-on and should read either "A few unreleased J Dilla projects came to light this year on the heels of the previously unreleased projects DILLATROIT and Rebirth of Detroit. More material from the late and great producer, tentatively titled Lost Scrolls, is apparently on the way via Yancey Media Group and Delicious Vinyl." Or "A few unreleased J Dilla projects came to light this year in the form the previously unreleased projects DILLATROIT and Rebirth of Detroit. More material from the late and great producer, tentatively titled Lost Scrolls, is apparently on the way via Yancey Media Group and Delicious Vinyl. "
