J. Cole continues his unusual surprise announcements, this time taking to his Ustream to share details on his upcoming album, titled Born Sinner. Cole also went on to share that the album is looking at a release date of January 28 barring no setbacks. In a recent Q&A with The Daily Tar Heel, J. Cole shared the following about the his sophomore album:
The album’s going to be coming out early next year. You should really expect it to be on the next level. I’ve been in a great place this year creatively, so things have been going good. I still go through some stress but it’s more of a good, natural stress rather than worrying about how many records are going to sell.
During a recent performance where Cole unveiled two new verses, he stated that he was holding off on revealing any information in regards to his album until the release of Kendrick Lamar's debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, and now that the time has come and passed, it looks like Jermaine is keeping true to his word. Up above is the trailer, which he just released through his Dreamville blog.
