The xx performed songs from their new album Coexist alongside the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra yesterday for BBC Radio 1, but not before premiering a new remix on Huw Stephen's evening show. The British trio presented a rework of their track “Angels” by fellow Londoner Four Tet. The production takes on a minimal-yet-melodic approach, with Romy Madley’s crystalline vocals intertwining the swirling beeps and stripped-down rhythms. Stating the track will be available “in a few weeks,” listen in to the radio rip below.
