Kendrick Lamar Explains ‘good kid, m.A.A.d. city’ Artwork

A few days ago Kendrick Lamar added some fuel to the fire of anticipation for his upcoming debut LP, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, by revealing the cover art for the album. Today we bring you footage of Kendrick as he sat down with Fuse to break down the decision behind the artwork. The cover features a photograph of a young Kendrick accompanied by three elder gentlemen, who are shared to be his two uncles and grandfather. In addition to the artwork break down, K. Dot shares some advice he received from Dr. Dre and discusses his latest single "Swimming Pools." good kid, m.A.A.d. city is due out October 22 via Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath.
