DMX Has Some (Not So Kind) Words On Drake Producing Aaliyah’s Album
By Petar Kujundzic / News / September 14, 2012 / 4411 Views

Never one to shy away of speaking his mind, Dark Man X recently voiced his opinion on Drake's involvement with Aaliyah’s upcoming posthumous album in a conversation with MTV’s RapFix Live. It is known that X is not the biggest fan of Drizzy, but the fact that Aaliyah's close friends of Missy Elliott and Timbaland will not be a part of the project further upsets the Yonkers native:

“He has talent, but it’s kinda redundant, it’s kinda the same all the time to me personally. It’s an annoying sound. I’m kinda feelin’ some kinda a way about the fact that you been commissioned, that you been blessed, you’ve been given the opportunity to do the Aaliyah album yet you don’t include anybody that she worked with personally. I’ma tell you why I’m mad, son. How do you disregard what this woman did? What this beautiful angel did and say, ‘Oh OK, I’m gonna take it for myself because I’m hot right now and I’m feelin’ myself,’. How do you just go there with it? Your balls ain’t that big, son.”

DAMN YO, I love DMX i was born in the early 80's so i grew up in the 90's. and the mid 90 belong to DMX. This almost brings tears to my eyes yo. We love D, but you gotta let these younger niggas live. In many ways you disappointed us. I mean damn. I wish DMX was still DMX. Even doe he wasnt hot right now, but at least be in the game like a Nas and a Jay Z. Nas was always my favorite anyways but DMX was a genius in his own right. Like what would the rap game be without The Daek Man X but yo you end up all druged out son and then dont wanna show Drake no love. If you was in a better state of mind that Drake tribute to Aliyah (God bless her soul) would have your name all over it. Then you wanna talk shit about another nigga. By all means Drake is gonna put his mark on the Aliyah project. So would you D, if it was you working on it but look at you dawg. This is not even funny. It hurts. Come back to us D or maybe you too far gone damn, life is fuck'd up and i can truly see that now. You still one of the greats and I understand where the anger is coming from since you knew Aliyah personally but Im sick of these niggas hating on other niggas. Personally Drake isnt my Fav. But you older cats need to let these younger niggas in the game live baby. Real Talk. We will always Love you DMX but you look like MY CRACKED OUT UNCLE and I aint even tryin' a be funny.
