Odd Future Fans Cause Fire on California’s Fairfax Avenue

It's no secret that the Odd Future crew can be a little rowdy from time to time. Their fans, on the other hand, may have taken things to the next level. Recently, a few coinciding followers set a tree on fire while on California's now-illustrious Fairfax Avenue. Fairfax has become a haven for OF fans as the hip-hop collective can frequently be seen roaming throughout the area. The above footage highlights the recent series of events which ended up with a palm tree catching fire and then the fire spreading to a couple of store awnings.

    Somethings not making sense. The Hollywood Reporter page said it was one of the rappers from the group. It said this happend yesterday but the guys from OF have been overseas starting there tour about 3-4 days ago. Also another fuck up, they said that it happened four days after that LA Weekly article which was published August 9th which means that the tree burning would of happened today? Not saying it could have been a fan but the media tends to make OF seem like these develish kids. I remember reading the report on the Boston incedent and how 2 police were sent to the hospital!, cause they tripped on the curbing... *face palm*

    They said a bottle rocket was "thrown" into the tree. I read on Gawker, which was the original source, that they got into contact with the owner of the pizza shop and he said that Tyler himself would pay for the damages. That report said that this happened "earlier this month" but did not give an exact date but the video itself was uploaded on the 1st. It also said that as of the 12th the damages have not been repaired. I'm calling Insurance fraud on this one and the media placing the blame on someone else who is prone to be believed to cause problems. Why is it just now we are hearing about this if it sopposivley happened way earlier in the month? Also why isn't it apparent in the videos description or in the video itself that the filmer knew it was started by OF?

    pretty sure the guy recording it with the 80s music wasnt one of the alleged ofwgkta fans involved with starting the fire. ordinary people drive down that road to. if i was driving down the street and saw a palm tree on fire, you best believe im gonna stop and watch/record it

    This is the part where i say some really fucked up shit that nobody else said yet. I think the bottle rocket or whatever was aimed at the OF Store. Lets think about it. OF has fans. But, where there are fans, their are haters. I know from experience that once you shoot a bottle rocket it can often lose its course and go a different direction. Fuck the media. Fuck that palm tree. DMGAFAH and the FAH is for Fuck a Hater!
