DOOM Sends Another Imposter to London Show

In case you didn't know, DOOM is notorious for sending masked imposters to perform on his concerts. This happened again this weekend at an event in London where the rapper, formerly known as MF DOOM, was contracted to perform at Livin' DOOM, organized by the Livin' Proof DJ crew. Much to their discontent, the "real deal" never showed up for the performance. Instead, the DOOM imposter, as displayed in the image above, intended to take over his set which resulted in the following statement released by Livin' Proof, expressing their disappointment:

As many of the people in the venue noticed, there is a very strong possibility the person that was finally sent down was not DOOM himself.

Doing this show has taught us a lot about how some artists operate and how they feel they can treat others and, most importantly, their fans. As fans of DOOM ourselves, this has left a very sour taste in our mouth.

Anyone who has been to Livin’ Proof parties always know that we do our utmost to provide the best quality show and we are so sorry for anyone who came down and were disappointed by the DJ set from the artist supposedly meant to be DOOM.

We will do our utmost to make this up to anyone who purchased a ticket for this event. We paid the fee upfront to Daniel Dumile’s bank account and have the receipts to prove this. We will be seeking legal advice and are doing our best to get his show fee refunded from DOOM and his management and will then take suitable steps after this action.

All the best,

Livin’ Proof Crew.

Man that shit is played out. Why Doom gotta be pulling shit like this? What a way to treat a loyal fanbase.

Maybe they should of payed him what he was asking for.....

He is an underground act. Imposters and elusiveness are tools of a villain. Maybe livin proof crew should get 'living proof' before they market a show staring a guy that has done enough shows to count on two hands. "dopest mc with no chain you ever heard"

It's time for people to start trying to understand DOOM and his ideals and concepts. All this is part of the multi-personality of him. Remember Metal Face, Viktor Vaughn, Metal Fingers, Zev Love X, King Geedorah? Sending somebody else to play him is just him being him actually.

The night before the show, DOOM asked them to pay him more money, threatening to not show up if he didn't. As you can tell, they didn't, so DOOM didn't show up. Simple as that.
