DJ Khaled featuring Nas, Scarface & DJ Premier – Hip Hop (Produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League)

After Khaled gave us a video of the making of the track, Funkmaster Flex comes through and delivers the brand new star-studded track "Hip Hop." Featuring legendary artists Nas, Scarface and DJ Premier, the track is definitely one most anticipated tracks off Khaled's upcoming album Kiss The Ring. Produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, the tune serves an ode to hip-hop as the two emcees lay their verses and Premo lays his additional scratches. Khaled’s upcoming Kiss the Ring compilation is due out August 21. Pardon the Flex-bombs for now and check out the track down below.

UPDATE: CDQ is now available to stream down below.

  • NBDLSN

    DOPE!

  • kph2

if only Nas rapped like this on "life is good"....

  • Rolfo

like in all honesty he brings the quality of records down....like imagine this track not with dj khaled record.

  • Guest

Nothing. Seriously, he doesn't do anything but put people on a track.

"People like to find something wrong with Khaled and they’ll come up to me and say some slick shit like, ‘He ain’t no DJ.’ And I’m like, ‘You don’t see the intense, immense skill in what he does?’ He executive produces the songs. These people don’t magically come together.” - DJ Green Lantern

DJ Khaled has to be in this song, so he can tell people that " We the best!"

I don't really give a shit what DJ Khaled does if he throws out a couple more tracks like this.

  • talkthetruth

Dj Khaled should be a personal trainer, I think it would really help a fat people hearing the words 'we the best'. But seriously, he has no place in music. Thanks Dj Premier for the track.

if you keep "magically" away in the sentence it suddenly sounds a lot more logical: 'These people don't come together', well actually, thats what artists mostly do to stay relevant, they come together. and they sure don't need a DJ Khaled to do so.

    1. He pays for a beat
    2. Picks a subject matter for the rappers to talk about
    3. Select who he wants on the track
    4. Puts DJ Khaled on the single
    5. And 3 months later he drops a album.....
    6. He's doing what every Dj in America is already doing... playing other people music he just puts it on a CD... He do NOTHING... MY NAME SHOULD BE ON THE COVER TOO... when i press play I'm the DJ

  • Mjau

Thank you for finally making me understand what Khaled's purpose in the music business is, now I can conclude that it's untrue that he doesn't do anything, but infact does something, but is terrible at it.

Finally something from Khalid I could rock to. I feel like KRS deserved a verse in it too.
