St. Vincent – This Wave (Japanese ‘Strange Mercy’ Bonus Track)
By Richard Brooks / Music, Tracks / July 7, 2012 / 1905 Views

Considered to be the sexiest woman in indie rock, Annie Clark somehow let this gem of a track go under the radar for many of her fans. Titled "This Wave," the song was a bonus track included on the Japanese version of her third album, Strange Mercy. The tune is slow, mellow and fits seamlessly with the flow of the rest of Strange Mercy. You can stream the song now down below and for those interested in purchasing a Japanese version of Strange Mercy, click here.

Hi, I am the person who posted this song on Tumblr. NO one else had released before, because I guess no one else bought it, and it was only released on the special edition of the album on the website CDJapan. I purchased the Japanese edition of Strange Mercy last fall around the time of the album's release. I did it so I could BUY this bonus track, as well as the special performance of Year of the Tiger that goes with it. On my Tumblr, it is merely audio, not to be downloaded. St. Vincent did not just officially release it. I posted it on my blog. I purposely paid and shelled out a lot of money, as a big fan, to collect and have this song. I am disappointed to see that people aren't even doing research to see that I posted it high-quality on my blog just as audio.

I mean to say, "NO one else (as in no fan) had released it before (that I know of)"
