The visual treatment for Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” encompasses the same grainy lo-fi effects of its predecessors “National Anthem” and “Video Games.” We watch Lana and a female love interest (played by actress Jamie King) go through the bittersweet elements of a relationship, showing us the good and bad times with an eventual tragic ending. The track itself has an added beat to the original’s ballad, that features on her debut LP Born To Die. Watch the clip above to find out the conclusion of their love affair.
