Lady Gaga paid Pitchfork Music Festival an unexpected visit over the weekend to show support for rapper Kendrick Lamar. This follows Gaga’s recent public praise for Kendrick’s music via Twitter and TheSource.com pulled up the Compton emcee to get his views on the pair’s newfound friendship, and the possibility of working together. “That’s a real good friend… a real good friend,” and regarding a possible collaboration he goes on to say “God willing …. for now I just like the friendship thing.” Kendrick Lamar is currently preparing the release of his highly anticipated album, good kid, m.A.A.d city via TDE/Aftermath/Interscope on October 2.
