Slaughterhouse featuring Cee Lo Green – My Life
By Matt Morris / Video / June 21, 2012 / 1817 Views

After teasing fans with a 30-second clip last week, Shady Records four-piece Slaughterhouse has returned with the full-fledged visuals for its newest single, "My Life." With Cee Lo Green accompanying the group on the hook, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9", Joell Ortiz and Crooked I decided to take viewers on quite the ride for their pop-friendly tune. The general gist of the video, which is filled with sports cars, money, girls, airplanes and various alternating settings, was hinted at in the trailer, but what wasn't is its humorous intro. The first two minutes star none other than Eminem, who is the star of a very special Robin Leach segment that boasters how rich the rapper is in a classic Slim Shady way. Although the members of Slaughterhouse aren't quite at their boss's tax bracket yet, the remaining four-and-a-half minutes of the video show that the collective is certainly on the rise. Watch "My Life" above, leave your thoughts below and buy the single on iTunes now.

The patchwork of visuals thrown on here
distracts you from the song's strengths.
