AraabMuzik Discusses Stalled A$AP Rocky Project

Non ideal news arrive for those of you that were impatiently waiting for the announced project between AraabMuzik and A$AP Rocky. In his conversation with Pitchfork.tv for their latest installment of their "+ 1" series, the producer implied that the planned project, initially titled A$VPMUZIK, has been permanently shelved.

"I don't know man, I don't even think it's coming out anymore."

In addition, he discusses his relationship with Skrillex, and the difference between hip-hop and electronic artists. Watch the conversation above.

     I mean I respect the MPC all day, AND the fact that he play's instruments, but dude does act arrogant considering, imo, that his music doesn't sound super great. He's overrated to me, like i think the novelty of his speed and stuff just entrances people. I mean come on, don't tell me you liked the "music" from like 4:30. it's just basically him wanking off on the instrument, sounds like shit. I'd rather hear preemo on the mpc any day

    He's good at what he does, but he is cocky. I read in one of his interviews he said something like I make hot shit even hotter than it was before. He was implying putting drum rolls over original versions of songs.
