Aesop Rock – ZZZ Top

Patti Li stars in the latest visual drop from Aesop Rock, coinciding with his track, "ZZZ Top." The action-packed set of aesthetics features a number of fight scenes to keep your attention the entire way through. "ZZZ Top" is slated to appear on Rock's forthcoming album, Skelethon, which is due out on July 10. You can pre-order the project here.

    Ever since A$AP came around, Aesop is DEAD

    Besides the fact that their name's coincidentally sound similar, they don't have a whole lot in common if anything, nor are they attempting to. One does not and will never negate the other. Aesop stresses lyrics and focuses on abstract concepts that mainly draw from literature, ie aesop's fables. Aesop has also been putting out records since '97. A$AP is mainly influenced by southern rap and other harlem native rappers such as Cam'ron, but with more of a future sound thanks thus far to producer clams casino. A$AP Rocky, and his A$AP crew, focus on common rap motives such as bitches, that almighty dollar, drugs and the party life. There is no right or wrong, I like both, but no one is getting dethroned here. Aesop lives on and I'm excited for his album.
