Whoever thought that James Murphy would enter retirement mode after the breakup of LCD Soundsystem, is frankly wrong. Quite the contrary is the case. After a slew of high-profile musical collaborations (i.e. Gorillaz's "DoYaThing") Murphy has linked up with Ed Banger's Busy P for a series of collaborations to celebrate the opening of a new Levi's store on Champs Élysées in Paris. This clash of creative forces is set to symbolize a union between French and American creative cultures. Both artists have co-designed limited edition T-shirts and trucker jackets to be sold at the store during its opening months, and curated collections of albums that will soundtrack the store. Check out a trailer for the whole project after Murphy and Winter's playlists.
