While sites have reported Don Cheadle to be working on a Broadway play about jazz legend Miles Davis, Cheadle has denied these reports as he turned to his Twitter to share the disappointing news. Cheadle announced:

Dear Everybody, contrary to several internet sites, I am NOT doing in any way shape or form a Broadway play about Miles Davis. Word is bond.

However, the famed actor confirmed that he is working on a movie "based on Miles Davis' life."

With news surrounding Andre 3000 working on a Jimi Hendrix biopic sending music fanatics into a frenzy, the thought of a Miles Davis-inspired piece is likely to cause an equal eruption. Stay tuned.
