Chief Keef featuring Fat Trel – Russian Roulette

Newcomer Chief Keef looks to continue to cash in on the success from his street anthem "I Don't Like" and of course the remix featuring Kanye, Pusha T, Big Sean and Jadakiss, as he now links with DMV rapper Fat Trel for a new delivery. The two present "Russian Roulette," which highlights production from hip-hop heavy hitter Lex Luger. Check it out below, and let us know if you think Chief Keef has a future in the rap game.

It's fuckin crazy . do people not realise what has been going for the past two-three years ? all trap music is the same all of it . every single song is the fuckin same . like wtf stupid lex luger beats with someone saying dumb ass shit . How the fuck to people keep supporting this shit ? Thank God for dudes like Asap Rocky , Kendrick , Schoolboy Q, Odd future , Bid Sean ,Big Krit , Cudi & even Mac Miller cuz they all sound different !

This is why music from 99' to 06'07' was so good nothing to complain about cuz every song was something new . back when BET 106&park was poppin ...

If you actually listen to Chief Keef's music you can understand the musician rather nicely. He is a young kid who obviously has some rage and his raps reflect his age(16)... like the lyric "i don't like", which is him essentially listing off things he hates which is pretty representative of a teenager. If anything hes somehow tapping into another niche, his flow is very emotionless and comes across as unmoving but that little flare at the end of his line changes it all into something catchy. I'm not the biggest fan of trap music but to say things like he has no talent and such is ridiculous considering he's only 16. If you listen to some of the people you mentioned (like Odd Future, Big Sean, Mac Miller, etc.) even they use some aspects of trap music (the class highhat of trap) that Lex Luger has so perfected. Don't dog the kid before you truly know and understand the music is all I'm saying.

You didn't understand what I said . I said trap music (The instrumentals & The Artists) is all the same . What is the difference between Chief Keef , Wocka Flocka , Gucci Mane , 2 Chainz , Juicy J , Future etc ? They are all the same compared to the list I made with artist that have some form of originality . Don't try and tell me Cheif Keef is something new . Stop trying to make the kid sound like a musical genius . He put out a catchy song like YC with rack on Racks and that's it . & his age has nothing to do with how much talent he has . Michael Jackson was killin it a the age of 5 , Bow Wow was killing it at 14-15 , Justin Beiber as well ....

  • illbrizzy

at the end of the day people gravitate towards real niggas even if their rhymes aint up to par, hence the success of gucci, waka, jeezy, 2 chainz and all the rest of them. not everybody can be 2 pac niggas.
