Wyclef – Justice (If You’re 17)
By Jonathan Sawyer / Tracks / April 13, 2012 / 644 Views

We of course know that Wyclef doesn't exactly shy away from the latest political happenings and coinciding current event issues. So in appropriate fashion, the legendary artist has chosen to focus on the highly unfortunate incident surrounding the death of Trayvon Martin. "Justice (If You're 17)" notes the well-rounded individual in large part speaking in terms of what could have been. Stream the J. Williams-produced piece below.

Learn some facts before you start making songs about a issue you know NOTHING about. There are tons of people we need 'justice' for, and this is not one of them. Give them a fair trial, in which Zimmerman will not be guilty because there is no evidence. Stop portraying Trayvon as some innocent kid without leaving the real facts. People like you Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are the real racists.

Get your facts straight and stop rapping about something to be active in the black community.

The Devil’s are bound by FACTS,
for the FACT is a TRUTH.The God’s are bound by WISDOM, for WISDOM is the TRUTH.

Thus, the Devil loves LAW, because LAW is the
    clever game of FACTS.

But the Devil hates the TRUTH, because the truth
    will set YOU free.

Wisdom =/= Truth. Stop doing mental acrobatics to fool yourself.

"Wisdom =/= Truth” - once again, this beast show’s his affinity to LAW !!!

    He can’t help himself. lol!!

Your clever attempt to infer that I was using Geometric Logic was an attempt to evade WISDOM.

But I know Geometric Logic better than you — and I did not say "Wisdom is TRUTH."
