Kendrick Lamar recorded 30 songs with Dr. Dre

"The Recipe," Kendrick Lamar's exceptional collaboration with Dr. Dre might be just a teaser for what's to come. While the anticipation for his upcoming debut album Good Kid in a Mad City could not be higher, K. Dot has revealed in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid that there are a lot more tracks where that single came from. The Compton native has stated that he and the Doc have recorded up to 30 songs together. In addition, he might end up with Dre and Snoop Dogg on the very same track.

"We're looking around summertime [to release Good Kid in a Mad City], pushing around at the end," he noted. "I'm in a tight space right now. They're trying to get that motherfucker out immediately, but I continue to keep on working…I've probably got about 30 records with Dre, bro. For Detox, I locked in with Snoop and Dre…to see the two of them in the studio together, man, it just makes me think about all the old joints that they used to do on The Box and BET, 'cause they've still got that same chemistry where Snoop is the little wild homie and Dre is the mentor."

History in the making.

technically section 80 is a mix tape ( which i dont know what that means anymore).  it seemed to be a full album because of original music. i think its whatever they feel like calling it at the time.
